Appreciation Letters

Dear Sponsor,

I recently required the services of the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter after I fell off my bike out the back of our farm while fencing.

I would like to thank you for your sponsorship of the rescue helicopter. Without their services I would have been in a very difficult predicament.

They provide an invaluable service to the rural community and I hope you continue you support of this vital service.

I am well on the mend after an eight day stay in hospital.

"Recently my husband and I had an accident while out 4x4ing with our Wanganui club,  on farm land at Mangamahu, unfortunately we slipped our Toyota truck off the track down about 80 metres on a steep hill, but thanks with the help and support, and generous donations from you guys, the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter came to our aid, free of charge, and flew us off the hill to Wanganui hospital. Hi,

I was recently air lifted out of the bush by the rescue helicopter of which I believe you are sponsors. I came off my dirt bike breaking a rib and puncturing a lung amongst other things. The ride I was on was called the coastal pursuit which starts at Danniverke and goes to Akitio and back covering about 300 kms of farmland.

This amongst other rides of the recreational variety are all fund raising most of which donate to the rescue helicopter.

As it just so turns out, on the 5th of March, the date of my accident, it was a win/win situation for me. I have been riding for many years and if I continue as I am still quite damaged, I will be more careful.
