Our Careers
Join the sales team of Screen Vistas and experience what it means to be the best people in a great culture!
With a network from far North to Invercargill and Support Offices in Auckland, Palmerston North and the South Island, we have a diverse array of opportunities. The company network is supported by a host of diverse roles including, Marketing, Technology Information, Production Team, Administration and Sales.
Our recruitment
We know recruitment can be daunting that’s why when you apply for a position to join our team we will guarantee your experience will be both positive and professional. The process you are likely to go through when applying for a position will include an initial phone call from The Corporate Business Development Manager asking general questions around your experience, career aspirations and what attracted you to the role. If you both agree the match looks promising, you are likely to progress to a formal interview with the relevant manager, finishing with reference checking.
Once we have this range of information, we consider the overall fit with our culture and the role. If you are considered to be the preferred applicant, an offer will be discussed verbally and then sent through in writing for you to consider. If you are unsuccessful with this job, you can expect to receive specific feedback on the gap between what we needed or desired in the role and what you are able to offer us.
Our training and development
To ensure we build and share knowledge we provide meaningful development opportunities. Your personal and professional development is important to us and we will work with you to identify ways we can support this. We actively encourage our staff and contractors in a formal review process where Career Planning and Training and Development needs are identified and structured within an individual's role. Employees and contractors can also expect appropriate actions are taken as a result, and this will range from formal coaching, on the job training, mentoring, enrolment in tertiary education and formal training courses, utilising both inhouse and external training providers.
Our high performing culture
We know to build high performing individuals we must provide and receive regular balanced feedback, so we encourage our people to be actively engaged in this process through the cultivation of a supportive environment. We believe it is important to have a strong achievement culture where we all work as part of one team, collectively achieving the Company's objectives. We do not encourage competition between branches or business units, preferring to work collaboratively for the greater Company good. This is a key component of our culture, and many comment on how willing our infrastructure are to help each other out right across the company.
We want everyone to be successful in their role and will recognise your achievements and the contribution you make to ‘adding value to our world’.
Our employment relationship
To nurture sustainable and successful relationships we rely on every individual member to contribute positively. Our values encourage the raising and appropriate resolution of all issues no matter how big or small because we know it is often the little things that make the difference, we find most issues can be resolved. We are committed to providing all our personnel a productive and enjoyable working experience which will assist all facets of our business to be successful.
